This Spätburgunder comes from soils characterized mainly by clay, loess, loam, quartzite, porphyry and various types of sandstone. When the grapes have the right acidity and sugars they are picked. Once they reach the wine cellar, bruising and fermentation follows at a low temperature between 18-20 degrees.
The color is semi-intensive which is characteristic of Pinot Noir. This Spätburgunder has spent several months in oak and owes its soft vanilla notes to this.
The wine pairs well with pastas, hard cheeses, lamb and risotto.
