This wine is served by KLM in World Business Class on Intercontinental flights.

Auxerrois is a Pinot Blanc variant, but with a low acid content and a bit more extractive than Pinot Blanc. The grape variety Auxerrois colors the taste of this harmonious cuvée. Delicious with fried sole.

The Auxerrois has traditionally been a grape specialty of the Luxembourg Mosel region. It is a Pinot variant that produces a fresh extract-rich wine. Due to the low acidity, this wine can be combined well with flatfish and is therefore recommended with fried sole.

Factsheet Auxerrois 2020

"De Kleine Schorre" transformed from a Brussels sprouts farm into a renowned wine farm.
At the end of the nineties the agricultural sector in Zealand was a big problem area. The neighbor of potato and Brussels sprouts farmer Krijn-Jan van de Velde advised him to start a vineyard. After half a bottle of gin Krijn-Jan said: "come up with a plan". And that's what happened. On the 29th of May in the year 2001, the first vine was planted in the former Brussels sprouts field. In collaboration with the renowned Luxembourg wine company Cep d'Or there are now more than 42.000 vines and the Vineyard has grown to 10 ha and one of the largest of The Netherlands.
